The Transition: Bikes on Boats

• 13:30 | Nho Que 3: Instead of a dusty road transit, we put the motorbikes on local boats.

• The Canyon Cruise: A sail through the heart of the gorge, stopping for a swim at the base of the Tu San cliffs.

Evening: Rice Paddies & Sunset Social

• 17:30 | Bao Lac Outpost: Arrive at our Pristine Outpost in the remote Bao Lac district for deep isolation.

Morning: Walking the Clouds

• 07:00 | First Light: We hit the road early to beat the fog and the tour buses.

Afternoon: The Canyon Connection

• Bikes on Boats (Nho Que 3): We don’t just look at the river; we put our motorbikes on local boats to sail through the heart of the gorge.  

• The Cinematic Transit: Instead of a punishing 8-hour drive on the border highway, enjoy a 1.5-hour cruise directly into the remote Bao Lam district of Cao Bang.

• Tu San Immersion: While the bikes are in tow, we stop in the deepest section of the canyon for a swim beneath the towering limestone cliffs.  

Evening: Stone Village Social

• 18:00 | Stone Village: Check into our Ban Gioc Waterfalls village homestay for a family dinner and a chance to explore the local night scene.

This leg of the journey trades the sharp, grey peaks of the Ha Giang loop for the vibrant, fertile expanses of the Cao Bang UNESCO Geopark. Skipping the urban center entirely, we advance toward the international boundary to sleep in a heritage hamlet nestled right against the border.

• Ban Gioc Waterfall: Head to the edge of the world. Take bamboo rafts to the base of the largest border waterfall shared with our neighbors.

Afternoon: The Mini-Mongolia Flex

• Vinh Quy Grass Hills: A high-altitude ride across soft, endless green ridges—the most cinematic photo spot in the North.

• 17:00 | Wrap-Up: Return to the city for a final farewell before catching your luxury van back to Hanoi.
