No filler, no compromise—just the stops that make Cao Bang worth the journey, in the order that makes the most sense to experience them. Day 1 immerses you in local culture and iconic waterfalls. Day 2 climbs to panoramic grass hills and untouched valleys. All legendary sights included: the massive Ban Gioc Waterfall, hidden Nguom Ngao Cave, pristine Quay Son River swimming, the legendary Peaks of Quy ridgeline, and authentic homestay experiences at the Eco-Village Homestay.

ENROUTE TO CAO BANG:
To join the 2-day tour starting at 08:30 in Cao Bang, you will need to travel the day before. We offer multiple bus options from various cities to accommodate your schedule:
Day Before Departure:
- Plan to arrive in Cao Bang the evening before the tour.
- Choose from several bus options from cities like Hanoi, Ha Giang, and Sapa.
- Upon arrival enjoy a free hostel bed arranged by us at Loop Hostel Cao Bang.

08:30: Gear check and route briefing from Loop Hostel Cao Bang. Guide introductions and riding order confirmed before departure.
- Authentic paper village (immersive cultural stop — local craftspeople continue traditional handmade paper production; walk through the village, see the process, and interact with artisans; 30–45 minutes; guide adjusts timing based on artisan activity).
- Quay Son River swimming stop (pristine emerald waters in a remote, untouched valley section; cool, refreshing midday break; 45–60 minutes including swim).
12:30: Lunch at a local stop confirmed by your guide based on group pace and route (60 minutes).
- Ban Gioc Waterfall (boat trip to the foot of the waterfall — one of the largest waterfalls in Southeast Asia; the narrow river here marks the Vietnam–China border; explore the area on foot after the boat; 60–90 minutes).
- Nguom Ngao Cave (cathedral-sized caverns with impressive formations; trek approximately 30 minutes through the cave interior; 45–60 minutes including walk).
17:30: Arrive and check in at the Eco-Village Homestay — an eco-tourism property on four acres of riverfront land. Settle in and prepare for sunset views from the homestay.
19:00: Local dinner at the Eco-Village Homestay overlooking the river. Overnight at the Eco-Village Homestay.
ECO-VILLAGE HOMESTAY - CAO BANG
08:00: Breakfast at the Eco-Village Homestay before the final day's riding.
- The Peaks of Quy (Loop-exclusive stop on a high exposed ridge with 360-degree panoramic views — grass cover broken by limestone outcrops; dramatically different between seasons, lush green in summer and burnt gold in dry season; 60–90 minutes).
Midday: BBQ lunch at Angel Eye Mountain — a unique karst formation with a natural hole through its centre; enjoy the meal with views across the surrounding valleys (60–90 minutes including meal).
- Angel Eye Mountain walk & viewpoint (final exploration of the mountain's distinctive geological formations; photos and panoramic valley views; 30–45 minutes).
16:00: Arrive at Loop Hostel Cao Bang. Gear return. Tour closes here — guides available for onward recommendations.
