Transit Note: Today is dedicated strictly to arriving, checking in, and getting familiar with the basecamp. Riding officially begins tomorrow morning.

Today's Highlights:

• Transit: Need a ride? Just let our team know, and we’ll arrange your transportation straight to Cao Bang City from any famous travel hubs (Hanoi, Ha Long, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, Noi Bai Airport, or Ha Giang) and more.
• Basecamp Check-In: Unpack and settle into Loop Hostel Cao Bang. Your first night in our cozy dorm room is completely on us (private room upgrades available upon request, subject to availability).
• Evening at Leisure: Take the rest of the evening to explore the local streets, night markets, and food scenes of Cao Bang City at your own pace.

We head west into the highlands, carving through deep bamboo canopies before linking up with our Ha Giang riders for a shared evening feast.

Morning:

• Morning Prep: Check out, enjoy breakfast, and gather for our comprehensive safety briefing, riding order coordination, and gear check.

• Vu Nong Viewpoint: Throttle up to the elevated Vu Nong lookout point for a morning coffee stop with sweeping views over the surrounding mountain ranges.

• Highland Fuel: Pull over for a delicious, authentic local lunch handpicked by your guide in the Ban Nga area.

Afternoon:

• Truc Lung Pan Bamboo Forest: Immerse yourself in the cool, serene greenery of towering bamboo groves snaking along the highland backroads.

• Bao Lac Homestay Arrival: Roll into our cozy partner homestay in Bao Lac as the late afternoon light hits the valley. Unpack, stretch your legs, and catch the sunset over the rice terraces.

• The Grand Crew Merge: Meet up with our Ha Giang overland group as they arrive in Bao Lac, joining forces for the rest of the journey!

Evening:

• Family Dinner: Sit down with your newly expanded crew for a massive, family-style northern dinner, swapping stories from both sides of the border.

Today features one of the most famous engineered mountain passes in Vietnam and finishes at Asia’s grandest transnational waterfall.

Morning:

• Early Valley Departure: Fuel up on a hot homestay breakfast in Bao Lac, pack your gear, and run a quick morning bike check to catch the crisp air.

• Khau Coc Cha Pass: Challenge your line on the legendary 14-switchback wall, a vertical stack of tight hairpins. Drop the bikes and take a rugged jungle trek to the cliffside lookout to glance straight down at all 14 curves carved into the cliff.

• Ha Quang Lunch: Descend into the historic Ha Quang district for a satisfying, energizing mid-day meal.

Afternoon:

• Borderland Cruise: Ride deep into the eastern frontier toward the thundering Ban Gioc Waterfall, arriving in the late afternoon as the cascading water catches the warm, golden light.

• The Bamboo Raft Plunge: Board a traditional raft to glide directly up to the misty base of the multi-tiered falls, feeling the roaring spray blast off the drops.

• Riverfront Farmstay Check-In: Ride along the peaceful Quay Son River to check into the homestay for the night. Decompress right on the water's edge as evening mist rolls over the banks.

Evening:

• Waterfront Gathering: Enjoy a peaceful group dinner overlooking the quiet river, feasting on fresh, organic farm-to-table frontier dishes under the stars.

Our final day explores endless rolling green highlands and a surreal, fairytale valley before wrapping up at our central hub.

Morning:

• Breakfast on the River: Enjoy a relaxed morning breakfast by the flowing water before gearing up for the final leg.

• Vinh Quy Grass Hills: Scale the rolling, emerald-green ridges of the Ba Quang highlands. Often dubbed the "mini Switzerland" of Northeast Vietnam, these expansive grass hills offer boundless 360-degree panoramic views stretching to the horizon.

• Countryside Lunch: Stop at a cozy local eatery along the back roads for one final authentic family-style meal together.

Afternoon:

• Angel Eye Mountain: Journey into a secluded valley to witness a geological wonder—a massive, perfectly circular hole pierced clean through the center of a towering limestone peak.

• Valley Pasture Exploration: Hike across the vibrant green pastures, navigate seasonal wetlands, and climb to the top viewpoints to soak in this surreal landscape.

• Basecamp Return & Farewell: Cruise out of the valley and roll straight into Loop Hostel Cao Bang to return your riding gear and collect your luggage. The tour officially wraps up mid-afternoon.
