Heads Up: Today is dedicated to getting you checked in, settled, and acquainted. The motorbikes stay parked until our group departs tomorrow morning.

Today's Highlights:

• Easy transit: Enjoy smooth, organized pickups from major hubs including Hanoi, Ha Long, Sapa, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba, Noi Bai Airport, or Cao Bang, taking you directly to our northern hub.

• Basecamp Check-in: Drop your bags at Loop Eco Stone House. Your first night in our premium shared dorm is completely on us (private room upgrades are available for a small fee, subject to availability).

• Poolside Chills: Sip on a refreshing drink at our pool bar as the evening valley mist rolls in.

• Crew Gathering: Meet your fellow road partners and join our local hosts for a laid-back Q&A session to go over the map and safety guidelines.

Our journey climbs into the sky as we leave the city behind and navigate the colossal limestone walls of the far north.

Morning:

• Inspection & Roll Out: Check out, run through our comprehensive pre-ride safety inspection, and throttle out into the hills.

• The Serpentine Warm-up: Face the massive, sweeping turns of Bac Sum Pass, then stop at Heaven’s Gate to capture a view of the iconic Twin Mountains.

• Mien River Canyon: Carve through deep limestone gorges down to Lung Tam to see how indigenous H’Mong craftspeople spin, weave, and naturally dye raw hemp.

• Midday Fuel: Stop for a traditional, energizing lunch in the mountain town of Yen Minh.

Afternoon:

• The Switchback Dual: Test your focus on the famous winding switchbacks of Tham Ma and Chin Khoanh passes.

• Fortress of Pines: Step inside the century-old H'Mong King’s Palace, a secure mountain oasis showcasing a unique blend of Chinese, French colonial, and local tribal design.

• Dong Van Basecamp: Ride into town and check in at Loop Eco Stone Dong Van. Stretch your legs and watch the sunset by the pool.

Evening:

• Family Dinner: Pull up a chair and share an authentic, multi-generational local feast with the group.

• Night Session: Cozy up around the fireplace for traditional bamboo-stick dancing, taste some regional "happy water," and head into our secret stone cave for an epic, high-vibe karaoke night!

Today we conquer Southeast Asia’s most spectacular canyon before splitting into our specialized return route after lunch.

Morning:

• Early Breakfast: Fuel up early to get ahead of the morning fog and the slow-moving tour buses on the pass.

• Karst Caves: Walk through the rugged limestone monoliths and ancient corridors of Ta Lung.

• Ma Pi Leng Pass & Tu San Lookout: Ride the sheer cliffside highway of Vietnam’s ultimate mountain pass. Sip coffee directly over the impossibly deep Tu San Canyon and the turquoise waters of the Nho Que River.

• The Split & Recovery Lunch: Stop in Mau Due for an early lunch to rest and chat about the morning's epic ride.

Group Logistics Note: Mau Due is where our group splits after the Ma Pi Leng lookout. While the 3-Day, 4-Day Combo, and 5-Day Combo crews continue their deep loop routes toward Yen Minh, Bao Lac, or Ban Gioc, the 2-Day expedition begins its scenic southern return circuit straight back to Ha Giang City.

Clear-Sky Detour: If the weather behaves, we’ll take a secret mountainside gravel trail for a spectacular, panoramic view of the deep canyon gorges away from the main road.

Afternoon:

• Duong Thuong Pine Ride: Cruise through the cool, crisp, and fragrant shade of a towering pine forest on quiet, winding roads

• Thai An Lookout: Sweep through the massive, dramatic curves of Thai An, pulling over at a high-elevation lookout for a panoramic view of the canyon walls.

• Lung Pu Waterfall Dip: Cool off with a final swim at the beautiful, cascading Lung Pu falls - a perfect spot for a final team photo.

• Basecamp Wrap-Up: Roll back into Loop Eco Stone House in Ha Giang. Grab a post-ride drink, swap social handles and wash up.
