ENROUTE TO HA GIANG:

To join the 4-day tour starting at 8 AM in Ha Giang, you will need to travel the day before. We offer multiple bus options from various cities to accommodate your schedule:

Day Before Departure:
- Plan to arrive in Ha Giang the evening before the tour.
- Choose from several bus options from cities like Hanoi, Sapa, Cat Ba, and Ninh Binh
- Upon arrival enjoy a free hostel bed arranged by us.

08:00: Check out of your homestay, enjoy breakfast, meet the guides and the group, have your welcome chat. Get ready to hit the road!

Bac Sum Pass (Your first stop to hop off and enjoy the scenery)
Heaven’s Gate (The highest peak and entry to the Dong Van karst plateau)
Can Ty Pass (Lush landscapes and traditional villages)

12:30: Time for a local lunch in Yen Minh Town.

Chin Khoanh Pass (Winding roads with breathtaking mountain views)
Tham Ma Pass (Panoramic vistas of lush terraced fields)
Hmong Kings Palace (Historic palace offering insight into Hmong cultural heritage)

17:30: Arrive and check-in at the homestay in the rice paddies above Dong Van.

19:00: Have a family dinner with a variety of Vietnamese dishes, and share your photos from the day with the group.

07:00: Rise and shine for another day of adventure. Check out and have breakfast at our local homestay before mounting up.

Ma Pi Leng Pass (Vietnam’s most well known road, with spectacular gorge views along the famous winding Happiness Road)
Ma Pi Leng Skywalk (An elevated hiking trail offers unparalleled scenery and incredible photo shots)
Meo Vac (Traditional market town with vibrant cultural heritage)
Lung Ho (Picturesque village with Hmong cultural traditions)

11:30: Lunch in Mau Due

Mau Due (Village amidst rugged mountains with a nice viewpoint up top)

14:00: Check-in to the homestay in Du Gia.

15:00: Jump into the Du Gia Waterfall and take a swim!

19:30: Dinner and happy water, karaoke and dancing with your fellow travelers and guides.

07:00: Tuck into your breakfast and get ready to cross the border into the home of the Tay ethnic minority.

16:00: Arrive and check-in at the Bao Lac homestay

Soak in the panoramic views from our homestay and enjoy a breathtaking sunset spread across the valley.

19:00: Dinner and a bonfire with happy water. Share your stories and watch the lights from the villages on the other side of the border light up the mountainside.

07:00: Tuck in to your traditional breakfast and get ready for your day of exploration.

Khau Coc Cha Pass (20min/1 km hike up the mountain,to the viewpoint overlooking the 14 switchback roads up the mountain, then hike back down to the bikes)
Na Tenh Pass (viewpoint from one end of the Valley to the other with a beautiful winding road below)

12:00: Lunch at Ha Quang.

Angel Eye Mountain (explore the valley and marvel at the ultra unique mountain with a hole through the center)
Phong Nam Valley (enjoy the streams and flatlands of the stunning valley)

17:30: Check in at the homestay near Ban Gioc.

19:00: Have your local dinner and get ready for the falls tomorrow!

08:00: Fuel up for the final day of your adventure with breakfast at the homestay.

Nguom Ngao Cave (trek ~30 minutes through the impressive cave)
Ban Gioc Waterfall (take a boat trip up to the foot of the waterfall for a one-of-a-kind photo and view, afterwards explore the area on foot)(the narrow river divides China and Vietnam)

12:00: Lunch in the Vinh Quy region.

Vinh Quy Grass Hills (rolling grass hills & mountains stretch as far as the eye can see, in every direction)
Doc Lap Waterfall/Na Tau Waterfall (take a swim in the waterfalls plunge pool)

14:30: Arrive at Cao Bang City and say goodbye to your group and guides.

16:00: Our organised transportation to Hanoi will arrive.

🏡 Accommodation: Comfortable accommodations in the traditional family style dorm are included for each night of the tour, including the night before the motorbiking commences in Ha Giang.

🎟 Entrance fees: All entrance fees and activities mentioned in the itinerary are included in your trip, leaving you free to enjoy the landscapes and culture!

🧥 Rain Covers: Stay dry with provided rain coverings.

Exclusions

🚌 Bus Transportation: Transportation from your current location to the starting point of the tour, and back at the end, is not included. Backpackers join from all over Vietnam to join the adventure and we like to provide our guests with the flexibility to pick their best trip. You can select the options that best fit your needs on the right hand side of our website, and please note the bus will be the day before your departure date selected.

🥂 Beverages: Apart from the daily drinking water bottle, other beverages such as soft drinks, alcohol, and additional bottled water are not included.

💰 Personal Expenses: Any personal purchases such as souvenirs, snacks, or additional services at accommodations are not covered.

Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended to have your own travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.

🚫 10% VAT:This is only necessary if you require a VAT receipt.

🤙 Tips/gratuities: Tips for guides, drivers, and other service providers are not included and are at your discretion.

🏨 Private room: If you prefer a private room, there is an additional charge of $16 per room for the night, split between the occupants.
